• A1C – every 3 to 6 months
• Blood pressure – at every doctor’s visit
• Cholesterol – yearly
• Dental exam of gums and teeth – every 6 months
• Dilated eye exam – yearly
• Electrocardiogram – if over age 50
• Flu shot – yearly
• Foot exam – at every doctor’s visit
• Urine test for kidneys – yearly
